About our Community
Forest Trails Unit One has 170 lots. The size varies from 3/4 acre to 2 acres. The community has only site-built homes greater than 1100 square feet. We are a recreational vehicle friendly community. Off-road vehicles permitted and storage of motor homes and trailers allowed on site (one per site)

Forest Trails Unit 1 is a beautiful year round community located in the cool pines of the Sitgreaves National Forest on the Mogollon Rim near the communities of Overgaard and Heber, Arizona. At an elevation of 6,600' we experience four seasons. Local activities include hiking, biking and off-roading in the National Forest, skiing at Sunrise Ski Resort, golf at Pine Meadows Country Club (adjacent to community), communing with nature, and partaking in the many community activities and fairs.
